The Hangout, a fun restaurant, retail and entertainment venue, is coming to Broadway at the Beach in late fall of 2020. Using locally sourced ingredients, the menu will feature seafood, burgers, sandwiches and tacos – and guests can enjoy live music year-round on indoor and outdoor stages.
The Hangout will offer family friendly entertainment including dancing and contests led by energetic cast members, fire pits and courtyard games. Guest will find fun and unique items in the retail store and a variety of art installations created especially for Myrtle Beach.
Especially for the kids, special events including a Pirates and Princesses breakfast, treasure hunts and entertainment led by “pirates” and princesses” will be offered all summer long.
Originally established in 2008 in Gulf Shore, Alabama, The Hangout is a family friendly restaurant and entertainment venue with a focus on multi-generational activities and fun. You can find kids and grandparents dancing on tables, laughing, singing and making life long memories. It’s a throw-back to simpler days of analog family vacations that highlight the American family vacation experience. They entertain over 600,000 people per year and are the home venue of the Hangout Music Festival, a nationally recognized three-day music festival that occurs every May on the beaches of Gulf Shores, featuring world renowned talent like Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, The Killers and many more over the last 10 years.
