Moored in quiet dignity and majesty, Battleship North Carolina is an authentically restored World War II battleship. Across the river from downtown Wilmington, this National Historic Landmark is also a museum and a memorial honoring 11,000 North Carolinians of all branches of service. As you tour, these are the men whose sea stories you will encounter through their oral histories, photographs, and mementos.

Visitors are encouraged to explore 9 levels of the ship, including the mess decks, berthing areas, engine room, combat information center, and so much more.
