Beautiful temperate weather and scenic vistas are the perfect combination for festivals. Celebrating wine, music, art and, of course, food. Thousands enjoy area festivals each year.

May is one of our most beautiful months and perfect for any outdoor event. The Blue Crab Festival in Little River is celebrating its 38th year of providing delicious food and a fun day of entertainment, also in May is the Rivertown Music & Craft Beer Festival in scenic Conway. Enjoy delicious food and craft beer while listening to a variety of live entertainment.

Country music fans will want to plan ahead and visit Myrtle Beach in early June to catch the Carolina Country Music Festival. Today’s hottest country artists perform for four days to a usually sold out crowd. Myrtle Beach’s most famous festival, Sun Fun, held the first weekend of June, has evolved through the years, and is still one of the most fun ways to celebrate summer.

Fall brings cooler weather and the beloved Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival. Held in September, more than 100 artisans are featured against a background of natural beauty. Enjoy delicious food and local musicians while strolling through Atalaya, former summer home of Archer and Anna Huntington.

For nearly 30 years, Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art has been bringing world class entertainment to the lowcountry. This year’s festival will feature Blood, Sweat & Tears, Pablo Cruise and more!

Also in October, Georgetown’s highly popular Wooden Boat Show celebrates all things nautical with a boat building competition, live music and vendors.

Get out and enjoy a festival!
