Ready, Set… Shop!

A Myrtle Beach vacation will leave visitors with wonderful memories, but it’s always fun to take home a few items. Be sure and stop at the Gay Dolphin on Ocean Boulevard, one block south of the SkyWheel. Family owned since 1946, this is much more than a gift shop, this store is a destination with more than 70,000 items in 30,000 square feet of retail space!

With 15 locations, you will not have any problem finding Bargain Beachwear. With some of the best collections AND prices, this is a must visit for sure. From great jewelry to the latest in sunglass fashions to tee shirts to swimwear for the entire family, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for here!

The only problem with shopping in Myrtle Beach is deciding where to go first! Broadway at the Beach is a fun destination that has unique shopping, plus dining and entertainment. Tsunami Surf Shop specializes in high end men’s, women’s and children’s surf shop fashions and accessories.

Bargain hunters alert! Tanger Outlets has two locations in Myrtle Beach, one on Highway 501 and one on the north end of the beach. With markdowns galore and designer fashions at discount prices, this shopper’s paradise will satisfy even the savviest price watchers. Be sure to visit Lenox while you’re there! There are two malls in Myrtle Beach – Coastal Grand is on Highway 17 Business near the intersection of Highway 501, and The Myrtle Beach Mall is on Highway 17 on the north end of the beach.

While you’re on the northern end of Myrtle Beach, stop by Barefoot Landing. Another destination shopping experience, it sits on the Intracoastal Waterway and includes a 27 acre lake.

The Market Common is urban shopping and dining at its best. Stores you recognize, like Pottery Barn, Centro Shoes and Chico’s, are mixed with unique one-of-a-kind boutiques. While you’re there, pick up a few things at Market Common’s Piggy Wiggly grocery store!
